Great Action Shots!
“Inside the White Lines” – Some of our best Action Shots
Over the past year and a half, we’ve posted some great action shots here on the Old-Time Baseball Photos Face Book page. They’ve always been well-received. So I thought it would fun to revisit a sampling of some of our favorites.
The first photo above shows the great Hall-of-Fame catcher Mickey Cochrane in action. Mickey is pirouetting around in mid-air, spinning with the quickness of a cat as he tags out Pinky Whitney attempting to score. it’s from a pre-season exhibition game played at Shibe Park on April 1, 1933, photographer unknown. In my opinion, it’s one of the all-time great action photos.
