 Guest Submissions Welcome!

Just a quick reminder that guest essay submissions from our readers are always welcome here on the Baseball History Comes Alive website.

We Enjoy Our Readers’ Active Participation!

If there’s a topic you’ve been thinking about related to the old days of baseball, why not take a crack at writing about it yourself?

Don’t worry if you’re not an accomplished writer, or you have trouble with grammar or punctuation or anything like that. I’m an experienced proofreader and copy editor, so it’s my job to “spruce it up!” if need be. And anything that gets past me, my Grammarly app is always there to back me up!

If the idea sounds intriguing to you, please check out the guest submissions guidelines I put together by clicking on this link. And if you still have questions after that, just drop me a line at Livac2@aol.com

I hope you’ll consider sending an essay for publication here on Baseball History Comes Alive. We enjoy giving our readers a chance to contribute to the site. It’s always a thrill to see your name attached to a published article (OK…so this isn’t exactly the New York Times, but it’s pretty close! Haha!) And it’s also fun to engage in discussion with the readers who comment on your article.

So the invitation for you to participate is always open. I hope you’ll seriously consider this opportunity to be an active part of the website. And so it’s time to give it some thought and:

Put Your Pen To Paper!

I'm a baseball historian who also enjoys writing. My forte is identifying ballplayers in old photos, and my special interest is the Dead Ball Era.
